This place is the best! I was interested in getting my first big-girl sound setup, and Stu helped me out so much. He really knows his stuff and won’t do you wrong. I got a whole custom system and great instructions on set up, all for a wonderful price. If you are looking to buy or know more about music electronics, he’s your guy. This place had kind and knowledgeable staff, a huge selection of inventory at great quality- especially for used and secondhand machines. I will be coming here for all my music needs.

I been a very faithful customer, and in saying that. I have never been unsatisfied with the service, expertise on certain audio systems or prices. I have been a loyal customer since the late 80's and I will only go to Stereo Discount Center for everything that I need in High End Systems. Stu is the Guru.

Stu at stereo discount center is an expert in new and used gear and he looks out for his customers. If there is a way to save you money he will find it. Extremely helpful. I wouldn’t buy my home theater gear anywhere else

This place has an amazing selection of vintage gear. Stu was a pleasure to deal with. I had a vintage Pioneer receiver serviced. I couldn’t be happier.Prices were very reasonable and turn around was awesome. Thank you for a great experience.

Awesome store with very knowledgeable staff. I was in a hurry and they were able to get me a really nice vintage reciever to replace my fried one that couldn't be fixed. If I wasn't in a rush I could've spent well over an hour looking at gear and chatting, such good stuff they have well priced. I'll be back to look through there stash. If you need vintage stereo equipment this is the place and they service them too! I picked up a very nice Nikko NR-715, it sounds so good and pure power! My vinyl has never sounded better!! Thank you Stereo Discount! Update, went back a few times because I can't help myself and walked out with an amazing pair of Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 set and for an amazing price. Stu is the man, Thanks Stu for the awesome speakers!!!

I'd like to add speakers to my movie-watching setup. The speakers can be placed on a table or mounted on a cabinet behind the screen. I've attached a picture of my setup. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I brought my Nikko STA 7070 to Stu for repair. He got back to me in a timely manner. Stu explained to me it was in poor condition and should not be repaired. I talked to Scott the repair tech who is very nice and very helpful he explained to me what it needed and that I was putting good money in to bad and the repairs cost could mushroom and that I could puchase a used working one for less money. He left it up to me to think about. I can't say anything bad about them, I would give them a 5 star and recommend them to anyone. Stu didn't pressure me to purchase another system. Stu was knowledgable and replaced the Grado needle on my vintage Elac Miracord turntable and balanced the tone arm while I waited - lots of cool things to look at in the shop! Highly recommended!

Great place, atmosphere, and people! My husband and I sold a good amount of stereos and different types of speakers and Stew was very reasonable and super nice. We drove an hour to get here and it was definitely worth it. We will be back!

I’ve bought multiple systems - always a positive experience. Stu is a great guy - never any pressure just a passion for old equipment. Whenever I’m looking for a new receiver or speakers, I typically go there. The last speakers I bought I’m still using today without any issue. I still remember when they were on Thayer Street on the East Side!
